Gift Voucher for Fused Glass Introduction Workshop

On this course you will be introduced to the creative world of glass fusing.

You will learn all about the different types of glass available such as frits, stringers, confetti glass and recycled glass.

How glass interacts with other glasses, the use of inclusions and how to use decals within glass fusing.

We will go over the different types of warm glass work such as tack fusing, slumping and full fusing. Technically we will discover how the kiln process works and the health and safety needed when working with the kiln and glass.

You will lean how to cut glass, how to combine the colours and textures of dichroic glass to create 3 items of jewellery.

You will also create 3 art glass pieces such as a coaster, sun-catcher and picture.

All materials, tea, coffee and a buffet lunch are included in the price.

Group sizes are kept small to ensure everyone receives the help and attention needed to create your own fused glass masterpieces.

This course runs from 10am to 4pm

Price £185 per person, Limited to 4 per class.
